  • Freelance Web Developer

    About the role

    Viabrand is an emerging creative studio located in Spring Hill Brisbane. Since launching, the business has built an exceptional reputation. Our team specialises in branding, graphic design, marketing and digital. Acting as a resident expert in web development, you will produce effective web solutions utilising web technologies on WordPress and bespoke built solutions in PHP.

    We are not after a developer that can just “pickup” the job, rather a specialised PHP developer looking to complement existing commitments.

    Are you a natural PHP developer with experience in agile development?

    Are you currently freelancing and have clients of your own?

    Are you organised, and process driven?

    Do you have experience in scoping projects and dealing directly with customer?

    Skills and experience

    • Advanced experience with PHP, MySQL, NodeJS, Composer, Gulp, Git and Docker configuration and virtulised deployment environments
    • Advanced WordPress customisations using ACF
    • Common WP plugins WooCommerce, Gravity Forms, Mailgun etc
    • WHM Administration (Highly desired)
    • CLI deployments through SSH
    • Setting up general hosting and website configurations
    • Developing responsive websites using HTML5, SASS, CSS3, JavaScript
    • Agile development
    • Project discovery sessions, scoping documents and client meetings
    • Working with a range of online software programs e.g. Harvest, Asana, eCommerce, eDM platforms
    • Integrating third-party systems and APIs
    • Debugging cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility issues and mobile responsiveness
    • Working towards project budgets and deadlines

    In order to be considered for the position, the successful candidate should hold the following;

    • A minimum 3 years’ agency / commercial experience working as a front end developer / web developer
    • Exceptional attention to detail and high quality delivery standards
    • Efficient working with teams and independently; self-motivated, task oriented and organised
    • Outstanding English verbal and written communication skills

  • Marketing Intern

    About the role

    Viabrand is seeking an energetic, highly motivated office all-rounder to join our small, friendly studio team. This is an assistance role with all things sales and marketing and will suit a team player that loves to multi task and is a natural talker.

    Tasks and responsibilities

    To be successful in this role you will:

    • Have a can-do attitude
    • Be motivated, punctual and reliable
    • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Be highly efficient with an ability to multi-task
    • Have strong computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Have experience in a sales support administration role (or similar).

    Your duties will include, but may not be limited to:

    • Using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign)
    • Assist with updating digital marketing content
      • For social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook)
      • WordPress websites
    • Sales calls and emails
    • Administrative assistance to the studio team
    • Assisting the Managing and Client Director with sales and marketing responsibilities

    Skills and experience

    • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
    • Experience with MailChimp or Vision6 email marketing software
    • Professional integrity
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
    • Attention to detail and accuracy

    Note:

    • The role is flexible casual 3 days per week for 3 months with the view of offering a permanent 3+ day position to the right candidate.

We collaborate with in-house customer marketing teams and ambitious start-ups building successful brands – we build Brands that Move.

    An opportunity is going for a Sales Executive who has strong experience in B2B sales. The successful candidate will collaborate alongside the Managing Director and Sales and Client Executive, assisting with relationship building, sales and client management.

    We are seeking a driven and self-directed individual who is keen to contribute new ideas and drive forward the growth of the business.

    Become part of the team, help build the pipeline, assist in the growth of the business and be rewarded with sales bonus incentives.

    Job tasks and responsibilities

    • Achieve monthly sales budgets
    • Manage sales budget report dashboard
    • Manage inbound and outbound sales and marketing activities
    • Manage phone and email enquiries
    • Attend client meetings when required
    • Attend networking events when required
    • Manage Viabrand CRM system
    • Manage Viabrand proposals system
    • Manage client briefs using time tracking and project management systems
    • Relationship building, identify and map out potential customers

    Skills and experience

    • Degree qualified in Sales / Marketing required
    • B2B marketing experience (3+ years)
    • Professional integrity
    • A positive and customer first attitude
    • Professional manner
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment

    • Experience using Office

    Note:

    • The role is for 3 days per week for 6 months with the view of offering permanent full time to the right candidate.
